SolarDealz 150 Watt 10 Amp Solar RV Kit - Complete
- Most complete kit and easiest to install.
- Pre-wired components - No Cutting, Splicing or Crimping.
- Great for 30' or smaller RV's with average power consumption.
- Great for 1 & 2 battery RV systems.
NO WIRING TOOLS NEEDEDWe're making our own kits! The easiest kit to install. We've designed this kit with pre-wired ends. No wire splicing, cutting or crimping. It's simple, run the wires, mount the panel, solar controller and connect the wires. Most kits on the market do not come complete with fuses or fuse holders or wired ends. Our kit is pre-wired with fuses, fuse holders and ring terminals for all connections. No wire tools needed.
Great for 30 foot and smaller RV's, 1 & 2 battery systems, with average use.Our 150 Watt 10 Amp, solar RV kit is a single panel kit for RV's 30' or smaller or with 1 or 2 battery systems. Use this kit to recharge RV battery(s) from daily use or maintain RV batteries over long periods of time. On average, 30 foot RV's use between 30 and 50 Amp-hours a day (average use). Our 150 watt 10 amp solar RV kit will produce between 40 and 55 Amp-hours on most sunny days. Our 150-watt polycrystalline panel kicks out 8.15 amp-hours in 1 hour. An average summer day has 5 to 7 hours of good sunlight. If you are in an area or season that has lower hours of light, please calculate the difference.
Polycrystalline vs Monocrystalline
150 watts is 150 watts. Both types of solar kick out similar or the same amount of amperage per hour of sunlight. The only real difference is the size of the panel. A polycrystalline panel will be about 1" larger. This larger footprint isn't that noticeable. Solar technology has grown steady in the last few years. Most information between poly and mono solar panels is based on old solar technology. With new technology polycrystalline solar panels are a viable option.
Most polycrystalline solar panels work better under partial or low light situations. Poly does better with early morning / late evening sun and cloudy situations. Polycrystalline is less expensive to make. It can save you hundreds of dollars and perform just as good if not better than monocrystalline technology. Again 150 watts of solar either poly or mono technology is still 150 watts of power produced.
This kit is not intended to be expanded.
